Hii guys and Girls, this is my first Essay on Remembering events as freshmen review in oakland University. I need some suggestion on Grammar and Mechanics. Thanks, home Sweet Home, it was my last day in "C-5". Adarsh Society was the name of my street, and "C-5" was our house number for the last 10 years when we lived in India. We decided to leave this house. It was a moment of happiness and sorrow at the same time. I was sad, because i had to leave a place where i was born, played day and night, and where i felt like i was in heaven. However, my family was happy because we were going on a big trip.
According to my taste i chose the wallpaper for the walls and the furniture: a sofa with lovely cushions, a wardrobe, beauty a writing desk and a floor lamp. The window is framed with peach silk curtains. The floor in my room is covered with wall-to-wall carpeting. I love my bedroom, its very cozy and warm. Probably my flat isnt ideal to someones mind. But for me its the best place to relax and meet my family. They say: East or West, home is best. My parents are very hospitable and we keep our house open for friends and relatives.
We use all modern kitchen gadgets here: an electric kettle, a microwave oven, a dish-washer, a coffee machine, a food processor, a toaster. The view from the windows in our living-room is amazing. Our guests admire the picturesque scenery of the wood and the river. There is an artificial fire-place in the wall and a fluffy carpet on the parquet floor in the middle of the room. We often lie on it watching some good movie. My mother is fond of growing plants, so the living-room is full of palm-trees and blooming plants. I have a room of my own.
My, home of Yesteryear - using
I never wanted my children to grow up in an area like i did. I am thankful for my father who raised me in the your right direction even if it wasnt in the best environment. I live in a 10-storeyed brick block of flats in a peaceful district, not so far from the centre of the city. I moved here 6 years ago with my parents and a little sister. Our house is surrounded by a childrens park and some shops.
Our flat is on the top floor and its 80 square meters, so its very light and spacious. It is also well-planned and comfortable. There are all necessary modern conveniences in the flat: hot and cold water, gas, heating, television and internet connection, electricity, a refuse chute. We have a living-room, a kitchen, a bathroom, two bedrooms and a pantry. The biggest room is our kitchen. We cook there and have meals at a big wooden table. The gas-stove, the fridge and the sideboard for dishes and glassware are built-in.
One day he thought it was a wise decision to have a game with money involved. Of course he won and suckered me for all of my money that I worked so hard to save. I told my father later on that day how much fun I had with this game but I lost all of my money. My father was very angry with me and told me never to hang out with this boy again. We lived in that house for about 12 years. My father watched the neighborhood go down year after year.
As soon as my father got a better job and saved up we moved away from there. The memories I have about the old house i will never forget. I still remember many events clearly from that place. The location of where someone is raised molds a person into what they become as adults. Where they are raised can have a great impact on their life for years to come. Where i was raised had a great impact on my life. What stuck with me most is the thought of not being able to afford a house in a nice neighborhood when I got older.
The green mile essay
I remember sliding down the slide and stopping half way because it was too rusted. Then every time i would swing on the swings you could hear a constant screeching that would make the dogs bark homework 6 blocks away. I never really had too many friends in the neighborhood. I remember playing a couple times with the neighbors kids. I remember my friends were quite different from. At times they report would curse or be mean to my sister and. My father brought me up to never swear and respect everyone. I remember having a friend whom was 3 years older than.
And I can not forget the insides. The house had two bedrooms and 1 essay bath. I remember waiting 15 minutes before every shower to get the warm water. Te floors had carpeted that was brown and ugly with stains in them. Most families had a color television. We had a black and white television that only got in ten different channels. My father believed that we should do something constructive with our lives instead of sitting in front of the television. My constructive days were spent outside playing on our old swing set.
good one. Experiences I had living there will stay with me for the rest of my life. Ever since i could remember this house was in a bad part of town. We lived in a ran down place in an ugly part of town. The paint on the house was faded brown with plenty of paint chipped off. The grass was dead with weeds everywhere. The sidewalk in the front had a crack so high you could do a three-foot jump off it with a bike.
The concept of home has a very important position in some cultures. Englishmen, for example, are particularly attached to their homes; a famous proverb my paper house is my fortress originates in England and in the beginning had quite a direct foundation a person couldnt even have been arrested in his own house. Even now there is hardly any place where a person may feel more secure and protected from the dangers of the outer world. Home Sweet Home, everybody is put in this world without a choice. We dont have a choice of parents. We dont have a choice of what we are going to look like. We also cant choose the location we want to grow. We dont have a choice at all when we are born.

Home Sweet Home Essay, there Is no place like home. Every person has a place which he treats differently than any other, the place where he feels more comfortable than anywhere else. It is not exactly the place where the person lives it may be some house or flat from the past, for example, the one he or she lived during childhood. But what is so specific about it that it plays such an important role in the culture of many nations of the world? I think, it is because a persons home serves as the best reflection of a personality on the outside world. One cannot live somewhere for years without movie leaving a kind of trail, a kind of residue of oneself. You can judge about the majority of people simply looking at the way they decorate or, speaking about it, do not decorate the place where they are living. It probably wont give you any useful information, but still may be helpful in terms of overall impression.
